Summary of Qualifications
Development of a java based J2EE framework for management of user authentication and a profile / permission scheme. Intended to
provide basic functionality for vanilla J2EE environments:

Participated in the definition / architectural design of the Vortex project, a B2B marketplace server. Developed portal framework components for aggregation of content and the support of JSP based development for the Vortex services.
Designed and built GUI debugger for Ingres Windows4GL product. The debugger is a source level debugger tightly integrated to the 4GL application editor, providing features appropriate for the multithreaded, event driven Ingres 4GL as well as more conventional debugging features. Managed product all the way through development cycle, working with other engineering organizations to get needed support, as well as doing most of the actual development work. Developed in 4GL and C, using locally developed object oriented toolset. Primary development on Sun workstations running OS/Motif, product ported to other platforms, including MS Windows.
Served on Ingres committees dealing with code portability and CM issues.
Worked on Ingres Vision product, the application generator for character based applications. Was concerned mainly with design of storage / retrieval mechanisms for getting application information into and out of the database. Developed in C, on a variety of UNIX machines and workstations, then ported to VMS.
Designed and developed traffic measurement and reporting software for System 85 and Dimension, AT&T PBX offerings. Involved understanding of the task scheduling for an embedded realtime system.
